Imilac crater

The Imilac meteorite was found in 1822 in the Atacama Desert, in northern Chile. Many large masses were found and thousands of small fragments have been found since. Imilac is a beautiful stable pallasite, with nice golden to green olivine crystals. Continue Reading »
